Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson was an American actor. Beginning her professional career as a child actor and model, Elson is most likely best known for her television roles as Alice Tyler on the CBS science-fiction . Andrea was a candidate to play the lead in ALF the hit 1986 show. She was a finalist. She worked for several years in a variety of TV shows as well as Movies of the week before she decided to retire from the world of entertainment. ALF occurred during a challenging time for Andrea Elson, who played Lynn Tanner, the teenage daughter of Kate and Willie. People magazine released a retrospective of Elson's career in the year 2000. Elson commented that being a teenager who was in the limelight wasn't an easy task. In New York City in 1969 Elson grew up within the world of traveling because her father was a salesman who traveled. At 10-years-old Andrea was already a traveler traveling to New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. When she was in San Diego Andrea got an agent, and was able to get the role she attempted to audition for. Fusco stated that ALF has a height of 285 and therefore drink beer. ALF became more and more popular among children and so NBC told Fusco that he shouldn't drink because kids were watching. He's a poor image model. Fusco still believed ALF was an adult and that he was able to handle drinking. In 1995 he was diagnosed with lymphoma. The cancer was successfully cured and remained in remission through the year the year 2019. In Englewood New York at the Lillian Booth Actors Home on 26 June 2019the actor of 75 years passed away due to cancer.
